Before you start
People management is separate from sensitive fields
Staff and team management has Hidden and Edit. Edit covers staff, practice Roles, disciplines, skills, teams, memberships, and access assignments. Account access level definitions and office financial configuration remain Admin-only.
This capability does not reveal rates or salaries by itself. Changing rate fields also requires Rates Edit. Changing salary fields also requires Business finances Edit.
Compare denial and management access

Save Contributor for Priya Sharma and start Preview.

Confirm Resources is absent and the Staff page shows Access Restricted.

Stop Preview, save Project Manager, and preview again.

Open Resources and confirm Add Person is visible.
Resources appears when a person has profile access, Rates, or Staff and team management. The available tabs still narrow to the capabilities they actually hold.
Troubleshooting
- Resources is visible but staff editing is not. The person may have Rates or profile access without Staff and team management Edit.
- Salary stays redacted. Business finances is an additional required authority.
- Rate fields remain unavailable. Rates Edit is also required for sensitive rate changes.
