Creating a Company

Set up your company account and configure basic settings to get started.

Overview

A company is the top-level entity in the platform. All projects, team members, invoices, and financial data belong to a company. You'll create one during your initial sign-up.

Creating Your Company

  1. Sign up for an account at the login page.
  2. After verifying your email, you'll be prompted to create a company.
  3. Enter your company name โ€” this appears on invoices and reports.
  4. Choose your default currency โ€” this sets the currency for new projects and invoices.
  5. Set your fiscal year start โ€” used for financial reporting periods.
  6. Click Create Company to finish.

Initial Configuration

After creating your company, we recommend:

  • Upload your logo โ€” appears on invoices and the navigation bar.
  • Set business hours โ€” defines default capacity for team members.
  • Configure tax settings โ€” set default tax rates for invoicing.
  • Add your address โ€” displayed on invoices and official documents.

What's Next

Once your company is set up, you'll want to:

  • Invite your team members so they can start logging time and collaborating.
  • Create your first project to begin tracking work.
